1970: born in Friedrichshafen (Southern Germany).
1993 – 1996: studied at the violin makers school in Mittenwald (Germany).
1996 – 1998: worked as a violin and double bass maker in Hamburg. (Germany)
1980 - 2002: studied double bass at the Groningen Conservatory (Netherlands)
2001 – 2005: worked as an independent double bass maker and musician in Groningen (Netherlands)
2006 – present day: works as an independent double bass maker and musician in Arnhem (Netherlands)
It is my mission as a double bass maker to offer my clients repairs and restorations of the highest quality and craftsmanship. I have a wide variety of traditional instruments to offer the discerning musician. My years of experience, as both builder and player, affect every repair or fine adjustment I carry out.
